Packing your whole house or business at once can fast become a chaotic task. Therefore, divide and conquer. It is easier to pack one room, office,or part of your business at a time or per crew.
Use mirror packs for artwork and mirrors if you are planning a long distance move.
Books weigh a lot per volume. Pack them tight in smaller boxes.
All breakable items should be wrapped individually in paper. Paper should be used to cushion the bottom, sides and top of boxes.
Place plates vertically in a box and use plenty of paper for cushion.
Fill your boxes to the top and fill the gaps with paper.
Close and tape well your boxes. Make sure that your boxes are stackable.
Label each box. Label on the side of each box rather than on the top so that boxes in stacks can be identified.
Label boxes "fragile" containing fragile items and keep them separate from the rest of your boxes.
Time will be saved on your move if you arrange boxes in stacks of similar sized boxes four to five feet high. This enables the boxes to be easily dollied to the truck or palletized.
Use wardrobe boxes for your clothes. This way you will save time in packing your closets. We provide wardrobe boxes free of charge.
