Hazardous Materials, as defined by the U. S. Secretary of Transportation, are not accepted for shipping. Please do not pack such materials in boxes for movers to take to your new home. It is dangerous and illegal for us to transport them. You can give them away to your neighbors or call the local waste company, a recycling company, or the Enviromental Protection Agency about how to safely dispose them. Some of the hazardous materials most common to household use are indicated below.

Combustible Liquids	Rubbing Alcohol, Lubricants ( Motor Oils ), Anti-Freeze Compounds
Corrosives	Acids, Drain Cleaner, Photographic Acids used in developing film, Bleach, Batteries (wet or dry), Water Purifying agents used in swimming pools
Explosives	Fireworks, Arms Ammunition, Flash Bulbs
Flammables	Lighter Fluid, Matches, Wood Oil Stains, Petrol-Chemical Based Garden Sprays, Paint or Varnish, Paint or Varnish Removers, Butane / Propane / Gasoline (in garden equipment), Signal Flares, Charcoal Briquettes
Compressed Gases	Aerosol cans, Fire extinguishers, Scuba diving tanks
