Schedule with a moving company ahead of time. Of course if you are moving within, to, from or around San Diego we recommend us.

Sell or give away the items you no longer need.

Take a look in the list of items that we are not allowed to transport and make arrangements if necessary.

Start packing at least two weeks ahead of your move. We provide full service moves where we usually pack one or two days before the date of the move.

Make arrangements for your plants. We can transport your plants if you are moving in town or a short distance but they will not survive a long distance trip in the moving van.

Make arrangements for your pets. Think where they are going to be during the time of your move and how to transport them.

If you are moving a refrigerator, defrost and dry it the day before your move. The doors of your refrigerator should be left open several hours to air after defrosting.

If you are moving your freezer, drain it the day before moving so water doesn't spill everywhere. Freezer appliances must be completely defrosted one or two days prior to moving. They should be dried and aired to avoid musty odor.

If you are moving a washer, you could save time if you disconnect and drain all hoses before we arrive.

If you are moving a gas dryer, you could save time if you disconnect and shut off the gas before we arrive.
